  • A great Airbnb stay for guests starts with great tools for hosts. In November 2023, my team completely redesigned the Airbnb listing editor, making it easier than ever for hosts to showcase what makes their space special.

As part of the redesign, we introduced an AI-powered photo tour, a powerful new feature that utilizes AI to instantly organize a listing's photos by room. This allows hosts to provide prospective guests with a more comprehensive understanding of their home, rooms, and amenities before booking.

  • In 2023, Airbnb launched Rooms—an all new take on the original Airbnb that lets guests experience a city like a local by staying with a local.

As the marquee feature of the summer release, my team worked on the strategy and design of the all new Host Passport. The Passport, along with new and improved Host and guest profiles, aims to help create stronger connections between hosts and guests, while also establishing a greater sense of trust and safety on the Airbnb platform.

The new Host Passport was prominently featured in a series of television spots, showcasing short vignettes of guests forming genuine connections with their Airbnb hosts.

  • As Design Manager at Squarespace, my main areas of focus was the design direction and experience of squarespace.com. The goal? Inform, inspire, and guide users to create and grow a beautiful online presence.

In 2022, my team launched Starting Points—an intuitive new way for users to create and publish a website on mobile in a matter of minutes. This new, lightweight experience would allow users to create the first page of their site in a few simple steps by selecting a starting point template, adding their content, and styling.

  • Squarespace’s motto? Show, don’t tell. So what better way to show what’s possible with Squarespace than by sharing the most inspiring websites made by real users. In 2021, we launched Made with Squarespace, a centralized hub of curated and categorized websites serving as a source of inspiration for new and existing users.

  • As a platform that sells websites, my goal was to create a site of our own that solidifies Squarespace’s place as the leader in website design. As Design Manager, I oversaw the design and creative direction, user experience, and product strategy of all of squarespace.com, which included our homepage, product tour pages, company pages, marketing blogs, global navigation, design system, campaign activations, and beyond.

  • In addition to squarespace.com proper, I also led the creative and design direction of a number of brand campaign activations that lived on the site as well. These experiences served as the digital extension to Squarespace’s global marketing campaigns and often told rich stories around the company’s products, features, and customers.

  • I also led the design for several new products that were added to Squarespace’s suite of tools, such as Unfold, a widely popular mobile app used for creating compelling content for social.
