McLane is a product designer whose work is driven by usefulness, simplicity, and visual expression.

For over a decade, I’ve designed products and things at [mostly] design-led companies including Squarespace, Airbnb, Instagram, and Shopify. Sometimes I teach interaction design at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Lately I’ve been energized by shaping new tech into genuinely useful experiences for everyday people.
